Job summary

Medical City Dallas is interviewing for an RN Labor and Delivery role. You will provide consistent, safe, high‑quality care for laboring patients from admission to post‑delivery, with expertise in vaginal and cesarean births, fetal monitoring, and anesthesia‑related post‑op care.

Qualified candidates hold a TX RN license (or multi‑state compact), BLS, ACLS and NRP within specified timelines, and complete AWHONN fetal monitoring coursework within 1 year. C‑EFM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire if hired after 6/1/12.
• Current TX RN License or multi-state compact license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider.
• ACLS and NRP required within 3 months of hire.
• NRP within 3 months for interns and ACLS within one year.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course within 1 year or documented completion.
• C-EFM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, safe, high quality care from admission to post delivery for laboring patients.
• Familiar with vaginal and cesarean births, fetal monitoring, and anesthesia-related care.
• Demonstrate expertise in PACU period and newborn care first two hours of life.
