RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for a full‑time night shift. You will assess patients, administer care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, safe obstetric care.

Requirements include an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM within 90 days, with a BSN preferred and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Proficiency with EPIC is preferred; the role offers growth and professional development

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Multistate with NJ Endorsement.
• BLS, ACLS within 90 days of hire; NRP within 90 days of hire; Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification within 90 days.
• BSN preferred; 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC) and commitment to evidence‑based practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early.
• Administer medications and treatments safely with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support team communication.
