Job summary
Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities in Iowa. Full-Time, 6pm–6am shifts. Earn a competitive hourly rate with shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.
You will provide direct nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety and quality in a supportive environment. Qualified candidates hold a valid Iowa RN license, CPR certification, and knowledge of long-term care
Qualifications
- Valid Iowa RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Strong commitment to empathy, respect, patience and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers to promote teamwork.
- Communicate care needs with residents and families.
- Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
