Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Brenham is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to coordinate nursing activities on the night shift and lead a team of RNs and LVNs. You will ensure staffing coverage, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with a wide interdisciplinary team to maintain high quality care.

The role requires Texas RN licensure and prior nursing supervision experience, with a preferred bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a practicing RN.
• Nursing supervisory experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing activities during the assigned shift.
• Serve as the point-of-contact for interdisciplinary staff coordination.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and nursing procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for adverse effects.
• Provide coaching to direct care RNs and LVNs during the shift.
• Maintain high-quality care and safety for individuals served.
