MiraVista Behavioral Health Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Older Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Float Pool, working 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts. The role involves floating between inpatient units to meet staffing needs, with a $5.00/hr differential and a focus on geriatric behavioral health care.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required.
• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional nursing experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with geriatric and behavioral health patients.
• Experience in psychiatric, substance use inpatient settings, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to geriatric and adult behavioral health patients in an inpatient setting.
• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Float to and work within all hospital units daily based on staffing needs and patient acuity.
