Job summary

Children’s Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a registered nurse to join our neonatal float team, supporting care across the Special Care Nursery, Infant Care Center and NICU. This contract position requires adapting to multiple units on MPLS, STP and Mercy campuses and delivering family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents.

Ideal candidates will hold Minnesota RN licensure, current BLS, and at least one year of pediatric experience; additional certifications may be

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year experience with specialized pediatric population; pediatric experience preferred.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents.
• Apply nursing processes and collaborate with other health team members.
• Support care across Special Care Nursery, Infant Care Center and Neonatal Intensive Care units per unit needs.
