Job summary
The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at North Memorial Health Maple Grove provides compassionate, family‑centered care during labor, delivery and recovery. You will assess, monitor fetal status, support the birth team, administer medications and document care in Epic.
Requirements include MN RN licensure, current BLS and several perinatal certifications; minimum one year of L&D experience; strong communication and teamwork skills; nights, 12‑hour shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year RN experience in a hospital setting; Labor and Delivery Unit is required.
- Current RN licensure in MN with BLS; perinatal certifications (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NICU Lead, etc.) as specified.
- Strong communication, teamwork and ability to manage high-stress situations.
Responsibilities
- Reviews prenatal history and monitors labor signs, including fetal monitoring.
- Coordinates with care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient plan of care.
- Administers medications and provides bedside care following policies and protocols.
