Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Advanced Care team. You will manage patient care and coordinate with various care providers on a 20‑bed unit, with individualized orientation and required certifications.

The position is 0.75 FTE with straight overnight 12-hour shifts and every third weekend. Minnesota RN license, BLS per AHA, and a nursing degree are required; BSN preferred within 2 years. Benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred and expected within 2 years of hire.
• Minnesota Registered Nurse license and BLS provider status required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, families, and providers.
• Direct care by the RN or coordinate/supervise care by Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Provide care for cardiovascular patients on the 20-bed Advanced Care Unit with appropriate monitoring.
