Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the new Frisco, TX facility. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on 12-hour night shifts. Requires RN license and ability to obtain BLS if needed.

Responsibilities include education for patients and families, adherence to the Texas Nursing Practice Act, and ensuring safe, coordinated care across departments. Benefits available per location and policy.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.
• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Specialized nursing field in obstetric-related care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding of health conditions and treatments.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure safe patient travel and transitions of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Texas Nursing Practice Act.
