DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for full-time nights to join the RESPIRATORY & SLEEP team. The role involves setting up ventilators and gas delivery systems, performing aerosol therapy, and maintaining patient charts according to physician orders.

You will monitor patient responses, assist in emergencies, educate families on management techniques, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff to deliver high-quality care.

Formación

• Current license (RCP/CRT/RRT) required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP within 6 months of hire/transfer date

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate ventilators and gas therapy equipment per treatment plans
• Provide emergency care including CPR and resuscitation assistance
• Monitor vital signs and ABG changes, report to physicians
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use
• Explain procedures to patients to gain cooperation
