Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist for part-time night shifts. You will administer therapies, manage ventilators, and monitor patient responses across age groups, documenting care in the EMR and collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires CRT or RRT certification, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS, and strong critical thinking with infection control. Experience with ABG and pediatric to geriatric care is preferred.

Qualifications

• CRT or RRT certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required.
• Experience with arterial blood gas puncture and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care modalities and equipment.
• Proven ability to document clearly in the patient care record (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Operates ventilators and manages airway support (invasive and non-invasive).
• Performs ABG puncture and related analyses with sterile technique.
• Documents care plans and teaching notes in the EMR.
• Collaborates with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
