OhioHealth in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to administer diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care and communicate findings to the medical team. The role may act as charge therapist in the absence of management, ensuring patient safety and optimal care.

Responsibilities include administering MDI and nebulization, managing ventilatory support, recording data, and responding to emergencies. Requires NBRC-RRT registry, CPR, and an Associate's degree.

Formación

• Requires Respiratory Care degree or Certificate of Program Completion.
• NBRC-RRT registry required; Ohio license (Ohio Limited Permit acceptable) if applicable.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers MDI, nebulization, airway clearance techniques, and ventilation support; observes patients and reports to care team.
• Performs measurements and notes data in patient charts; follows protocols and safety procedures.
• Receives physician orders, determines treatment requirements, gathers materials, and prepares patient for therapy.
• Maintains airway and provides adequate respiratory support; assists with emergency procedures as needed.
• Performs invasive procedures like suctioning and ABG sampling to support diagnosis.
• Responds to stat calls, codes, and trauma; assists with ventilator transport as needed.
