Responsibilities

• Administers diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures.
• Evaluates appropriateness and effectiveness of care and reports findings.
• Records data and communicates with physicians and staff.
• Performs procedures such as ventilation, oxygen therapy, suctioning, ABG sampling.
• Responds to emergencies and supports trauma and resuscitation efforts.
• Maintains patient safety and follows care-site policies.
