Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist at our Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role covers adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care, including ventilator management and diagnostic testing, with night shifts and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include performing ABG analyses, co-oximetry, ECGs, and various pulmonary function tests, ensuring airway patency, and supporting emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist with required licensure.
• 6 months experience for Network float position required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document ventilator parameters and therapies in the medical record.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and transcribe orders.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, co-oximetry, ECGs and other basic pulmonary testing.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and adjust settings as ordered.
• Maintain airway patency and adequate humidification.
• Perform basic pulmonary function testing and related measurements.
• Transport and clean up equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
• Participate in resuscitations and traumas as assigned.
