Job summary

Moberly Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care in an acute care setting. You will follow physician orders, document patient responses, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include ABG punctures, ventilator management, infection control, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) required.
• ACLS, PALS required; NRP and STABLE if NICU department work.
• Proficient in using EMR systems for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patients to treatment modality prior to procedures.
• Performs ABG punctures accurately and reports results.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Performs pulmonary testing procedures as assigned.
• Follows safety and regulatory standards during procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and responses.
• Uses PPE and patient identification per infection control standards.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Stays prepared for emergency interventions and collaborates with teams.
• Adapts oxygen therapy to age-specific care needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
