Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to administer respiratory care, monitor patient responses, and implement treatment plans under physician orders. You will document thoroughly, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

You will orient patients to treatments, perform ABG punctures, assist with bedside procedures, and manage ventilator settings while adhering to safety and infection

Qualifications

• RRT certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• NRP and STABLE certifications required if NICU department.
• 1–3 years of acute care respiratory experience preferred.
• Strong documentation and EMR skills required.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer advanced respiratory treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Orient patient to treatment modality before procedures.
• Perform ABG punctures and report results promptly.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Perform pulmonary testing and other duties as needed.
• Follow respiratory protocols and safety guidelines.
