Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy Services team at High Point Medical Center. This full-time night-shift role supports adult and pediatric patients across the hospital.

The ideal candidate will be an RRT, NC-licensed with NBRC credentials, BLS, and be ready to complete PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days. Sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory care program or NBRC eligibility.
• RRT certification and NC license required.
• BLS required; PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment; ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
• Provide respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care throughout the hospital.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Report routine clinical procedures to relief personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety and appropriateness of care.
• Maintain professional knowledge and participate in quality improvement to enhance service.
