Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to perform direct patient care and consult with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness. You will serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff and perform duties as assigned.

This role offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and a night shift schedule (36 hours per week) from 7:00pm to 7:00am. ACLS is preferred, and critical care experience is desired. RCP licensure and NBRC RRT credential are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Holds the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS is required for co-workers in the Emergency Room.
• ACLS preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
