Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC, current.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC, current.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA or ARC, current or within 60 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate preferred.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care.
• May serve as Lead RCP, responsible for the section/department during shift.

Education

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred

Two years acute care experience preferred
