Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift at a Level I trauma hospital in Illinois. The role focuses on adult critical care and emergency department patients, with responsibilities across airway management and ventilator support.

This position requires active RRT and BLS, Illinois license if applicable, and Cerner charting experience. First-time travelers are welcome; local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of adult critical care and ED experience.
• Cerner charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and airway management in adult critical care and ED.
• Night shift 1800–0630; 3x12 or 4x12 hours.
• Work every other weekend and on-call as needed.
• Floating within hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed.
• Uses Cerner charting system.
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome.
• RTO ideally no more than 5 days.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
• Housing may be limited; early housing search recommended.
