Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) as per NBRC.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS recommended and may be required in some units.
• Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans for patients with severe respiratory conditions.
• Evaluate goals and communicate with the patient care team to coordinate therapy.
• Provide clinical instruction to staff, nursing students, and residents as needed.
• Assist in orienting new staff and contribute to team growth and training.
