Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent is a must.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical conditions.
• Insert and remove endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
