Job summary

Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am. You will provide both basic and advanced respiratory care as prescribed, following departmental standards and national guidelines.

Candidates should be graduates of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program, licensed by IDFPR, and NBRC certified with CPR/NRP/ACLS/PALS. You'll work across age groups with pulmonary function testing and ventilator care, contributing to quality

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensed by the IDFPR.
• NBRC certification required; CPR/NRP/ACLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and advanced respiratory care per physician orders.
• Perform airway assessment, intervention, and patient education across age groups.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive airway support and troubleshoot equipment.
• Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and quality control of analyzers.
• Respond to Code Blue/rapid response and monitor cardiopulmonary status.
