Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and manage patient respiratory care, document treatment and educate patients and families. The role requires MI licensure and NBRC CRT, with additional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation to determine respiratory care needs and makes recommendations per policy.
• Assesses treatment effectiveness and documents per standards.
• Performs point of care testing as required.
• Performs advanced evaluation and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
• Maintains competency and completes all required education.
• Ensures accurate documentation and billing.
