Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Full time Night Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its team. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered for this full-time night position. Shifts run 7pm-7am, three days a week, in a leading regional hospital in Dallas.

The RRT will perform ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and related procedures for adults and neonates under indirect supervision, adhering to departmental policies. Texas license and NBRC registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen administration, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Performs and reports prescribed cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures (ABG, oximetry, PFTs, ECG).
• Prepares a treatment evaluation including bedside assessment and medical record review.
• Interpretation of CXR, ABG, and PFT data when reviewing patient data.
• Assembles, checks, and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment (ventilators, airways, analyzers).
• Participates in infection control, safety, and quality assurance tasks.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Utilizes customer scripting to improve patient satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as required.
