Responsibilities

• Performs Respiratory Care procedures in response to patient needs, physician direction, and facility policies.
• Assesses respiratory status through exam, chart review, and response to therapies.
• Adjusts equipment and communicates with staff to maximize patient comfort and safety.
• Provides education to patients and families and documents education.
• Delivers direct patient care across Neonate to Geriatric age groups.
• Documents to ensure policy compliance.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement and QA processes.
