Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a Night Rentals Shop Technician to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient rental experience for guests arriving after dark.

You will assist with boot fitting, ski and snowboard setup, helmet rentals, and gear checks, while preparing equipment for groups and online reservations. In this fast-paced role, you’ll maintain an organized workspace, support the rental shop’s readiness, and work closely with fellow technicians and resort teams to keep operations safe and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to commit to working nights throughout the winter season.
• Must be certified or be able to be certified as a ski binding technician.
• Must have excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be able to commit to working weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season.
• Must have completed or be able to complete Tech I within 30 days of hire.
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
• Basic knowledge of ski and snowboard gear.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boot fitting, ski and snowboard setup, helmet and snowshoe rentals, and gear check operations.
• Prepare rental equipment for groups and online reservations; maintain an organized workspace.
• Support overall readiness of the rental shop and work with other resort teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests arriving to ski and snowboard after dark.
• Help ensure equipment is properly adjusted and ready for use and assist with tech tasks such as binding adjustments.
