Job summary

Recovery Innovations seeks a dedicated Peer Support Specialist I to provide recovery coaching and advocacy at the Cumberland Recovery Response Center in Fayetteville, NC. This Full-Time, non-exempt role operates 7:00pm–7:30am on a rotating schedule with weekend coverage, and offers $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Required qualifications include Peer Employment Training and certification as a Peer Support Specialist, a High School Diploma, and lived experience with mental health or substance use.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Peer Employment Training and certification as a Peer Support Specialist required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to teach recovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Guest care and advocacy to engage individuals in recovery partnerships and identify goals.
• Complete and maintain clinical documentation and comply with regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to arrange services and supports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
