Job summary

Lactalis American Group is hiring a Night Relief/Training Supervisor based in Nampa, Idaho. The role leads nightly shifts in Fresh Mozzarella production and packaging, ensuring training and adherence to standard processes and safety practices.

You will train staff, maintain training documentation, and collaborate with other managers to sustain high-quality output. The position requires scheduling, time-record oversight, and weekend availability within a 5:30pm–5:30am shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's description not required but high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Assistant supervisor experience in production, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA/USDA guidelines and safety regulations is expected.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for training materials.
• Experience in creating and updating SOPs and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist department manager to improve technical and financial performance of the department.
• Direct adjustments of manufacturing processes to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review production reports: volume, yields, quality, productivity.
• Schedule staff and estimate work hours for daily tasks.
• Review and approve time records; explain variances.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, GSP, FSSC, QC policies, and equipment maintenance.
• Create and utilize training programs to address skill gaps.
• Develop and update SOPs to standardize plant processes.
• Utilize MS Office to create training materials and organize records.
