Job summary

Lactalis USA in Nampa, ID is seeking an Operator I - Sassaros to monitor the whey drainage system during mozzarella production, ensure proper flow, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area. The role supports production by maintaining product flow, food safety, and equipment cleanliness.

You will operate and monitor production equipment, follow GMPs and HACCP procedures, conduct inspections, and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or food industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor whey drainage equipment during production.
• Hose down drains and screens to prevent cheese buildup.
• Ensure proper whey flow and prevent overflow.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Report equipment issues or drainage concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety procedures.
• Support smooth production operations through routine monitoring.
