Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Reliability Technician on the night shift. You will execute maintenance tasks, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and keep production downtime to a minimum.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic industrial systems, their function and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding and working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to multi-task and work with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with safety policies and safety expectations.
• Maintain food packaging safety and quality and GMP responsibilities.
• Report issues that pose risk to safety, environment, or quality.
• Maintain a safe workplace and strong safety culture.
