Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to lead a team of ramp agents and ensure safe, efficient aircraft handling on the ground. You will coordinate baggage handling, towing, and servicing, while training staff and ensuring timely turnarounds with flight crews and airport personnel.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in ramp operations and a proven supervisory background, with strong safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ramp operations or a related aviation field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ramp safety and operational procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ramp team operations including aircraft loading and unloading.
• Coordinate ramp activities to ensure timely turnaround of flights.
• Train and mentor ramp team members on procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor compliance with airline and airport regulations.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings on tasks and safety points.
• Oversee baggage, cargo, and mail handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Manage communications between ramp team, flight crew, and ground ops.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ground support equipment.
• Enforce safety measures and hazard prevention on the ramp.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies quickly.
• Support DOT regulatory compliance and audits as required.
• Maintain records of ramp operations and incidents.
• Promote safety and professionalism within the team.
