Bon Secours is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. The role covers overnight shifts (7p–7a) with a 24-hour schedule and requires ARRT diagnostic certification and BLS.

The candidate will perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensure patient safety, and support imaging workflows. Minimum qualifications include ARRT certification, state licensure preferred, and 1 year in radiation safety and patient care.

Qualifikationen

• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification is required
• BLS (American Heart Association) required at hire for some locations
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
• Experience with Radiology Information System and PACS preferred

Aufgaben

• Obtain patient history and ensure documentation for licensed practitioner
• Position and immobilize patient to optimize imaging
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure
• Perform radiographic procedures with imaging equipment
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiography procedures
