Job summary

Sentara Urgent Care South Boston is hiring a Part-Time Radiology Technologist. The role covers general diagnostic radiology imaging, patient positioning, and operation of radiology systems under physician supervision.

Phlebotomy competency may be required at sites performing Lab work as well. The candidate should hold a Virginia Rad Tech license or be registry eligible with registration within 90 days of hire; ARRT licensure is required for Virginia staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible with 90-day requirement.
• Virginia staff must hold a Rad Tech license.
• Phlebotomy competency may be required for certain sites.
• ARRT registration within 90 days of hire is required if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic imaging studies under physician supervision.
• Position patients for accurate anatomy/pathology visualization.
• Operate radiology equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and medications for procedures.
