Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Vandalia, IL seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform quality radiology procedures including CT and DEXA imaging. You will ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and accurate documentation.

The role requires AS Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, BLS/CPR within 90 days, and IL/IEMA registration. Shift is 6:00pm–6:00am; compensation starts at $26.35 per hour, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• AS: Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT - Radiography (R) (within 1 year of hire).
• BLS or CPR certification (within 90 days of hire).
• Sarah Bush Lincoln - IL State licensure (IEMA).
• State of Illinois licensure/registration.

Responsibilities

• Accurate image identification and chart documentation.
• Positioning of the body to image the correct area.
• Follow hospital protocol and ALARA safety guidelines.
• Maintain neat and clean work area; routine equipment checks.
• Perform CT and DEXA exams in addition to standard radiography.
• Process images to PACS; ensure high-quality imaging.
• Coordinate with radiologists and nurses as needed.
