Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. is seeking an RTS Quality Supervisor for nights (4:00pm – 1:00am) to lead the quality laboratory team in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing setting.

You will manage Quality technicians, ensure products meet standards, coordinate QA activities with production, maintain documentation for customer requirements (COAs, gluten testing), and support continuous improvement using SAP and related systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with related experience; college degree preferred.
• 5 years’ quality control experience in the food industry with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively lead lab operational processes to ensure all products meet or exceed established quality standards.
• Lead and train quality technicians to ensure Quality compliance and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate shipment and analysis of samples, equipment and other items as needed.
• Develop, implement and maintain documentation for customer requirements such as COAs and gluten-free testing.
• Supervise laboratory practices and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
• Serve as HACCP Coordinator by implementing and ensuring compliance of HACCP and Food Safety prerequisites.
