Job summary

Amsted Automotive Transform division in Sterling Heights is seeking a 3rd shift Quality Auditor (11pm-7am) responsible for all phases of inspection and quality audits to ensure conformance to blueprints, customer-specific and internal procedures.

You will perform receiving, in-process and final audits, log inspection data, identify nonconformities, support tooling setup, and communicate findings to drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspections and audits across manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret quality specifications.
• Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001 and related compliance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process and final audit inspection as directed.
• Record data on in-process inspection records and follow dynamic control plans.
• Verify procedures are followed and inspections performed by operators.
• Support setup and operation of stamping presses related to inspection tools.
• Conduct final audits, tag parts and dunnage for storage or shipment.
• Notify production of non-conforming material and assist in root cause analysis.
