Job summary

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of quality inspector/auditor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications and interpret requirements.
• Ability to pass and maintain a yearly vision/eye exam for accurate inspections.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements and tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming products.
• Report defects to relevant personnel.
• Communicate with production, engineering and management to provide feedback on quality issues and collaborate on solutions.
• Train production workers on quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Conduct final inspection to ensure products meet all quality standards.
