Job summary

Amsted Automotive Transform in Sterling Heights, MI is hiring a Quality Auditor for 1st shift (7am–3pm) and 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will perform all phases of inspection to ensure conformance to blueprints, customer specs, and internal procedures.

You’ll conduct receiving, in-process, and final audits, record data, and communicate findings to support continuous improvement. This is an on-site role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and specifications for quality inspection.
• Recording inspection data and nonconformities accurately.
• Communicating findings and collaborating on corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process and final audit inspections.
• Record inspection data on process records per control plans.
• Notify production if non-conforming material is detected.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Generate reports of nonconforming materials or products.
• Support setup and operation of inspection tools and gauges.
