Job summary

Stella & Chewy’s LLC in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to perform QA lab tests and maintain records in accordance with QA standards. You will collect samples, conduct tests such as APC, ATP, LRN, moisture analysis, and track results to support product quality.

This role reports to the Food Safety Specialist & Quality Manager and involves collaboration with other departments, ensuring safety compliance, and flexible weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Requires education generally equivalent to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science-based major.
• 6–12 months of experience in quality control in a food processing environment.
• Ability to write reports and to effectively present information to managers and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples for micro testing.
• Maintain lab conditions to aseptic technique standards.
• Conduct various lab tests (APC, ATP, LRN) as assigned and track results.
• Test moisture samples and manage data to support business needs.
• Follow safety rules, LO TO program, and read MSDS as needed.
