Piper Companies is seeking a QC Analytical Lead to provide technical insight and leadership to analysts working in-lab. This is not a hands-on, lab-based role, but past benchwork and a strong analytical chemistry background are valued to guide operations and maintain data integrity.

Responsibilities include overseeing data review, coordinating shift coverage, mentoring staff, and supporting the transition to a new laboratory facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field is preferred.
• Advanced analytical chemistry background with benchwork experience.
• Strong leadership/managerial experience in a cGMP/FDA-regulated environment.
• Experience with data review and data integrity in pharmaceutical settings.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, pH and wet chemistry, and general analytical lab operations.

Job description

Piper Companies is seeking a QC Analytical Lead to join a global pharmaceutical company located in Athens, GA through a 6-month contract with very strong potential to extend or convert to permanent. The QC Analytical Lead will focus primarily on providing technical insight and leadership to individuals who are working in-lab. This is not a hands-on, laboratory-based role; however the ideal candidate will have past experience working in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities of the QC Analytical Lead include:

• Provide oversight of data review processes and maintenance of data integrity standards

• Desired expertise includes strong experience with HPLC, GC, general analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, pH and wet chemistry knowledge, analytical lab operations

Compensation for the QC Analytical Lead includes:

• Pay rate is flexible, depending on years of relevant experience
