Ruiz Food Product, Inc. in Denison, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure GMP and HACCP compliance across production.

Responsibilities include auditing procedures, maintaining records, and coaching staff on proper documentation and food safety practices. Candidate should have a High School Diploma, strong math and communication skills, and be proficient in Word/Excel with AS400 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a math test with a minimum score of 75%.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Excellent communication skill, both oral and written.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of AS400 preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP(s), and Food Safety Principles.

Responsabilités

• Audit and enforce GMPs, SSOPs, TQC, HACCP and USDA requirements.
• Apply HACCP SOP requirements and make decisions based on set procedures.
• Perform AS400 computer transactions.
• Write shift summaries and weekly reports as necessary.
• Identify potential food safety issues and involve the proper department leads/supervisors.
• Identify non-conforming products and audit product for export.
• Assist in coaching/training of team members for proper documentation, product quality and food safety.
• Coordinate a sampling plan for products on hold.
• Record, identify and calibrate thermometers; perform swabbing as needed.
