Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide high-quality general and psychiatric nursing care for patients hospitalized for psychiatric or emotional disorders. You will support the hospital philosophy of care and ensure patient safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patient health per shift, guiding staff in observing changes, and administering prescribed treatments.

Qualifications

• Must possess ADN/BSN or equivalent.
• Must possess current LVN licensure in Texas.
• Must possess or obtain CPR certification and SAMA training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and well-being of patients per shift.
• Assist in observing changes in conditions or behavior and report to charge nurse.
• Provide prescribed medical treatment and apply standard psych care procedures.
