Job summary

View Behavioral Health LLC in Long Beach, CA, seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a full-time, inpatient psychiatric role on a rotating 3-day, 12-hour schedule. You’ll administer meds, monitor patients, document accurately, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery.

Requirements include an LVN program graduate, a current CA LVN license, and strong teamwork and communication. Bilingual skills are preferred, with additional shift differentials and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
• Current California LVN license.
• 2+ years in behavioral health or related setting preferred.
• Ability to pass a facility medication test during orientation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and maintain medication areas per policy.
• Monitor for adverse drug reactions and report to team.
• Perform nursing activities under RN supervision.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Document thoroughly in medical records on time.
• Participate in treatment team meetings.
• Know medication side effects, dosages, and contraindications.
• Carry out clinical procedures as directed by physicians.
