Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a qualified psychiatric/ER healthcare professional to join our Night shift team. The role involves assessing patients in the emergency department and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate placement.

Candidates must hold a current valid license (RN or licensed mental health professional such as LCSW/MFT/PST/LPT) and complete BCLS. DMH certification and inpatient psychiatry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current valid license as a Registered Nurse or licensed mental health professional.
• BCLS certification required on hire.
• Minimum two years in inpatient psychiatric unit.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients in the emergency room and throughout the facility as requested.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, nurses and staff within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensures appropriate patient placement based on age and identified needs.
