Job summary

Blount Fine Foods is seeking a Prep Manager for the second shift in Fall River, MA. The role oversees all raw material preparation, the thaw process, and production sanitation in a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will train and supervise Prep Supervisors, manage inventory with real-time systems, and ensure staffing aligns with labor costs while maintaining safety and QA standards. This position offers growth and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2 year to 4 years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years supervisory/manager experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Inventory software and Manufacturing software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Train, coaching and oversight of Prep Supervisors and key personnel.
• Ensure all inventory is maintained and real time verifiable.
• Oversees all prep process, practices and procedures.
• Maintain proper staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
• Coordinate with planning to ensure timely ingredient delivery to prep and production.
• Enforce labeling guidelines and QA programs.
