Cogir Senior Living is hiring a friendly, diligent, and energetic Night Porter in our beautiful retirement community, Solista High Pointe by Cogir.

Our Night Porter is responsible for fulfilling assigned housekeeping duties in the community's general areas and some light maintenance. The position is full-time with 4 x 10-hour shifts, Thursday through Sunday nights, from 7:30 pm to 6 am.

What will you do as a Night Porter?

• Operate floor cleaning machines for hard surfaces and carpets, as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including empty apartments, common areas, and outside spaces.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas.
• Follow community cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
• Report repair requests or safety hazards.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct routine building maintenance rounds, including painting, drywall patching, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Work within legal scope of local and state codes.

Qualifications:

• A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Maintenance experience a plus, including drywall repair, carpentry, painting, and floor care.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Experience in commercial property, hotel, independent living, or senior living environments is a plus.
