Job Title: Night Port Dispatcher Location: Long Beach, CA (On-site) Company: West Coast Trans Intermodal (WCTI) Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (some flexibility may be required) About Us: West Coast Trans Intermodal is a growing asset-based drayage carrier servicing the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. We’re committed to efficient, reliable, and customer-focused logistics. As we expand, we’re looking for a dedicated Night Port Dispatcher to help coordinate our nightly port operations and ensure smooth container movements.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch company drivers and owner-operators for port pickups, deliveries, and yard moves

Monitor driver progress and adjust dispatch plans as needed

Communicate with port terminals, customers, and internal teams to resolve any delays or issues

Ensure all moves are documented accurately in the TMS

Track chassis and container availability; assist in managing appointments and cutoffs

Provide after-hours support to drivers and escalate major issues as needed

Qualifications:

1+ year experience in port drayage dispatch (Long Beach/LA ports)

Strong knowledge of port terminals, TWIC/TIR processes, and container tracking

Excellent communication and multitasking skills

Proficient with dispatch software and tracking tools (Portpro experience a plus)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
