Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist to join our sleep disorders team. The role includes polysomnography, CPAP/BIPAP, MSLT and MWT testing under supervision; requires RPSGT certification and Iowa licensure; 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (6pm-6:30am).

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification and Iowa licensure required.
• Associate degree or a polysomnography program of at least 1 year.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnography, MSLT and MWT testing.
• Perform CPAP downloads for clinic visits.
• Document sleep stages and events to aid scoring and interpretation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sleep systems and equipment.
• Supervise other staff as needed.
