Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center seeks a Polysomnographic Technologist to join the sleep disorders team. You will perform CPAP/BIPAP polysomnography, record scoring, and support patient care under supervision of the clinical director.

Requirements include RPSGT certification, Iowa licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist, and BLS. Full-time, 36 hours/week, nights 6pm–6:30am (Thu-Fri-Sat). We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification and Iowa licensure required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of an accredited polysomnography program (associate degree or ≥1 year program).
• Maintain BRPT credential and state licensure with ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform and calibrate equipment for testing to ensure proper function.
• Conduct polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP, MSLT and MWT studies.
• Score polysomnography records and generate reports.
• Provide patient care and education; supervise other staff as needed.
